J is for joyful A you always have plans C for cute K for kind I cause I like the way that you dance And Even though you turned me down four months ago it's alright now J for jubilation A my adorable crush C for cuddly K for kisses I cause I can't stop calling you up And Even though the spring has come it's time to go but I had fun

Baker 03:22
My heart is pulsing again A frantic rhythm within And so affection begins A shaking all in my bones Internal sighs and moans I just can't leave you alone I want you to be mine You can't ignore the signs I see you every goddamn day and I still don't know your name You give my spirit a rise Your rare and radiant eyes Leave me spent in surprise Darling follow my lead My pulse is picking up speed You are all that I need Oh pretty baby you set my soul aflame Oh just maybe you'll let me know your name Oh pretty baby you set my soul aflame Oh pretty baby My head is pounding again A frenzied cadence within Infatuation begins I'll make you understand I'll give you all that I can Please let me hold your hand I want you to be mine We can't ignore the signs I see you every goddamn day and I still don't know your name

Be Calm 03:16
I walked a mile in the southern sun I dragged my feet across the long and winding road I was alone and I was lonely, too I was a mess and I was missing you Take heart my love we're almost there it's soon, so soon I'll meet you there my love be calm my love there's no mistaking it, the end is nigh i'm more than ready to resign this to the dust I hate the waiting and I hate goodbye I hate the distance between you and I In time we'll sleep together, we'll be older then we'll reminisce about the summer when our love was hanging by a landline phone finally, you and I can be alone Take heart my love we're almost there it's soon, so soon I'll meet you there my love be calm my love You were just some broad I was trying to lay Now I've got to have your lovin every day Take heart my love we're almost there it's soon, so soon I'll meet you there my love be calm my love

Saltwater 03:34
Climb into the boat beside me I'll steer, you can row beside me use your steady oars to guide me as we travel on the red sea I deeply fear the ocean for there's no end and no beginning I am no sailor, I was land-born after my sister, before my brother saltwater mouthfuls and wrinkling fingers I wore my welcome out down below (I was Ishmael I was itching for the warmth of the water in the palm of my hands) You're quite a swimmer, can you teach me? I'm too impatient but I learn quickl (I was Ahab, too, I was after the animal who delivered me a living death) I can tell you were sea-born after your father, after your mother (I was Moby Dick, I was thrashing in the water, I was bloody, I was out for blood) and I believe you and I'll go with you into the deep blue we'll go together Climb into the boat beside me I'll steer, you can row beside me use your steady oars to guide me as we travel on the red sea April rain never felt so sweet, I'm just glad I had you there with me So here we go now after you, dear we'll find what's hiding out down below

Warm Hearts 03:00
Your parents think I'm crazy I can't say they're wrong I'm something of a soldier marching into song Be honest with me, baby Are you here to stay? I'm asking you to love me every single day Oh, I know you do (ndimakukonda) Our future is uncertain, that will always be (your love is part of me) I promise to stay with you if you'll stay with me (sometimes you're all I see) "Doubt thou the stars are fire, doubt that the sun doth move (when you look through me) Doubt truth to be a liar, but never doubt I love" Oh, you know I do (ndimakukonda)

about

LOFT-002

I first saw Anjimile perform at NU Afterhours when we were both starting our freshman year of college, and I was enthralled with her music the moment she started singing. I was left in wonder after she captivated the room with nothing but her voice and her guitar. At the time, I kicked myself for not catching her name, but I was lucky enough to reconnect with her right around the time Dave and I were launching Loftman Records. She was the first artist we wanted to work with, and we were thrilled when she agreed to be on our roster. On Saltwater we tried to capture the intimacy, sincerity, and simplicity of her music. We hope you enjoy.
