This would have been the debut EP from northern New Jersey band Spartacus, a group I formed with my friends in high school. The songs were written in late 2009, recorded in early 2010, and never officially released in their intended fashion. Spartacus consisted of members of Cats In The Grass, Crown, Genie In The Car Bomb, and The Ashes. We played a handful of shows in 2010 before disbanding. Releasing this EP on Loftman was both a way to finally share this with listeners, and allow this label to hit the ground running. All proceeds from the sale of this album will be invested back into the label to fund future projects with new artists. Thank you for your time.

Track Name: We Are The Ones We've Been Waiting For
Take what you need to get by
Keep it locked inside
When everything turns bright
Ill say

The ice grows over me
When does winter turn to spring?
Where flowers sing

It’s cold. my hands grow numb and I cant feel this
Where’s spring? It takes over everything..
Track Name: Louisiana Weather
And that weather comes and goes
It takes us round and round
The rain cries down its song
We ignore it to move on

The weather takes us in
And leaves nothing behind

It’s all circles again
Its running away
The weather takes us in

The storm passes away
The rain stops its beat down
The clouds break loose again
The sun comes out again
